I work for a leading magazine who allow me to write pretty much want I want to…can one ask for more? My college years in the US changed me forever, there was no going ‘back home’ to a predictable future in India. Besides, New York happened to me! Gritty, edgy, heartless, greedy-for-life New York is my first love…I fell into place here like a jigsaw piece finding its slot in a million-piece puzzle…god, how I love its manic beauty! Make no mistake, it’s been a bumpy ride… great career moves, fantastic money, a lovely bunch of friends, but also,*sigh* a bruised heart. Is there really something like “one life, one love”? Or should I simply go with the flow? Whatever, by nature I’m an optimist. I never crib about the weather…each day is special, with a promise around the corner! |
