At Prakash Raj and Pony Verma’’s reception, Rani Mukherjee was in a Grey Sabyasachi Anarkali dress… is this to show that she is passing through the grey patch of her life? Cheer up Rani, this too will pass.
Mandira Bedi came in a silver white Saree and she was not the only one in white there were few others too… isn’t that a beautiful saree?
Remember Deepika Padukone’s saree at the Cannes festival, which was not liked by some fashion bloggers for its short blouse and draping style… interestingly enough we see lot other celebs copying that style and here is one live example.
One more white saree at the reception, Aarti Chabbria looks so different yet lovely in that red bindi, we took our time to confirm it was really her.
Post marriage Ayesha Takia seems to have really worked on her looks, she didn’t look so pretty at her own wedding reception.
Tanaaz Bhaktiar’s sharara with long sleeves has a different look to it but somehow without the dupatta it looks incomplete.
After sarees, lehengas and sharara its now turn for churidaars. Mughda Godse and Karishma Tanna had on them lovely churidaars, actually liked Mughda’s dress better… one cool pattern that is!

When there’s some high profile bridal show like the ‘Eternia – Trousseaux and more’ happening out there, you can expect more than just exquisite clothes… you can expect a glamorous evening. On top you see Sucheta Sharma in Pria Kataria Puri’s gown, definitely something unusual.
Pria Kataria Puri’s Royal Rajputana Collection had some trendy wedding wear like the one above.
At the venue Pria Kataria wore one of her Kaftan gown which was also displayed at the show. It was a good way of showing that the gown can be used for weddings and other occasions too; you just have to decide how stylish you want to make the occasion.
Other designers contributed to the show were Gaviin Miguel, Deepika Gehani and Riyaz Gangji. On top Amruta Patki is wearing one of Gavin Miguel’s gown; for the western touch in Indian weddings.

Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas, one of Jaipur’s oldest jewellery brands presented its latest collection “Adrishya” which means invisible in sanskrit. The name befits the collection that had ornaments made of Kundan, pearl and other precious stone well set in gold but gold remains invisible.
With an appeal value for women world over, Kriplani and Sons presented its collection consisting of hand crafted jewellery in traditional and contemporary designs. The one on top is just something to die for!
Audience at IIJW saw some unconventional work of art in Bina Goenka’s collection “Tribute to Gaia”, no wonder Bina received a standing ovation from the crowd.

Three pretty celebs Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone and Isha Koppikar seen at different occasions with one thing in common… all of them preferred Indian salwar suit. Isha kept it very casual using the printed shawl, overall a neat mix and match.
Not too gaudy not too simple is how we would describe Deepika Padukone’s white churidaar.
Best for the last, at Robot Music launch, Aishwarya Rai was seen in this lovely dress designed by Manish Malhotra. Its amazing how Indian outfits brings on the lady that extra grace!

Dia Mirza came for the play ‘A Disappearing Number’ in a very cool Kurti top and jeans, so nice to see a non-ripped jeans for a change.
A few appearance earlier we didn’t quite like Juhi’s Churidaars however this time its an exception. How nice it would be to see Juhi in more such sensible picks. By the way isn’t that Batwaa cute?
That polka dot off-shoulder dress was not designed with Divya Palat in mind, why do people not wear clothes that would suit them, instead of wearing anything that’s in?

L-R: Minissha Lamba, Arpita Khan and Sonakshi Sinha
At Arpita’s birthday party we saw lots of black even the birthday girl chose a neat LBD and looked pretty so did Sonakshi in a ruffle sleeve LBD.
That’s one of the rarest picture when you see Salman Khan smiling otherwise its always the grudgy look for him. And that ripped jeans is ripped really hard, that’s what we call so very pauper… oops… sorry proper!
Ashmit needs to give a few tips to sis Ameesha on good dressing and until he realizes that, we will do the needful. Ameesha, how about wearing clothes that suits your body structure, age etc than just following the fashion blindly!
Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Shaikh make such a lovely couple. Sanjeeda sure knows which clothes works best for her, seen here in a halter neck Jumpsuit. We have to admit, its the best Jumpsuit we have seen in any of the celebs so far.

Sonam Kapoor along with other stars of Aisha came for the premiere in that Blue cue dress. On close observation, that dress is highlighting her curves so very well. We wonder how would anyone not like that look, so complete and stunning!!
We noticed many Celebs chose to wear blue, probably trying to match up with the Twilight color except some like Amrita puri. How we loved Amrita Puri’s green bandage dress. Liked Bhagyashree in that Denim minus that red bag.
Payal Rohatgi matched her purplish blue dress with yellow pumps, hmm… taking inspirations from Anna Kendrick, Payal?

At the Glam fashion show there were Indian and Western clothing collections designed by Faiz Fatma.
We bring to you some decent ones but otherwise the colors used were rather too loud making the ensemble too tacky for our taste.

Angelina Jolie came for the World premiere of Salt in a sparkling black sequined Emporio Armani cocktail dress and for accessories she had only Asprey bracelet and stud earrings; that’s what we call style kept simple yet very very elegant.
Also we saw Naomi Watts in her new hair cut which we think really suits her. Naomi looked chic in the Gucci minidress and matching Pewter sandals.

Kristin Cavallari wrap dress reminds us of Samantha in ‘I am woman’ song in Sex and the City 2, also a similar version in red was donned by Rihanna at her album ‘Rated R’, see picture below; And we did not like so much either of them.

Looking at Urmila Matondkar only one question comes to mind and that is, Is she aging backwards? The dress is okay but the color suits Urmila so much, as if the color was created exclusively for her!

We also saw Shruti Seth in this black and white dress, looks like short dresses are so in and everyone wants to flaunt their legs.
