Last week during Gokulashtami, Dahi Handis organized at several places were graced by various celebs. Ladies all dressed up in Indian clothing looked hot. Now we can take a guess why Karisma chose to wear this color for the occasion… it kind of matches with Lord Krishna’s bluish complexion, very thoughtful Karisma!
The bubbly Prachi Desai was in a sleeveless churidaar, not bad but looks faded out for her complexion.
Anita Hassanandani performed at one such events but came in to the event in this lovely saree and halter neck blouse… talk about beauty in simplicity!
The Silver white churidaar Mughda Godse is wearing is pretty but something is amiss… its not really working on her.
The controversy king was there too with his better half… good to see them together smiling just hoping its real this time. Dimpy looked really cute in that golden-brown Churidaar with orange odhni.

Twinkle Khanna’s Missoni print dress at Shefali Shetty’s play made us ecstatic with joy, the whole look is so classy. We need to send some of our celebs to Twinkle for good styling tips.
Abhishek Bachchan with wifey Aishwarya were present there too, nothing to talk about Aishwarya this time; actually we have not been able to take our eyes off that scarf Abhi has around his neck, too bulgy… was Abhi not keeping well or something?

Bipasha Basu looked pretty in Vikram Padhnis’s lehenga at Gitanjali organized Bollywood Nite. Wondering if Bips was tired or trying to match up her bridal outfit with a coy look?
We love Claudia Ciesla in the blue netted sari but Claudia next time try a dark color it would definitely bring out the best in you.
Shyamal and Bhumika designed this Lehenga and how well it worked for Neha Dhupia you can see; the strapless blouse is giving it a bold look yet has all aspects of the rich Indian culture preserved.

On day 2 of the India International Jewellery Week, guests witnessed a new and fresh page of stupendous artwork. Eesha Koppikar got her stunning looks enhanced ten times with those inexpressibly beautiful Dwarkadas Jewellery.
Another designed for elegance type of ornaments from Dwarkadas. With about 50 years of experience in the jewellery business, Dwarkadas brand of Jewellery continue to bring on finely crafted necklaces, earrings, rings and long Rani Haars with intricate designs.
If you love the touch of Indian traditional jewellery, you will find the top line of Gitanjali Jewellery irresistible. Gitanjali Debut Collection presented three different collections named Parineeta, Menz and Nizam. On right we see designs from Parineeta and on left Nizam.
Above we see the exclusive “Kanhai” collection by Eekani Jewellers; Kanhai is another name for Lord Krishna and the peacock feather represents creativity. Earrings, Bangles, necklaces and chokers studded with rubies, emeralds, pearls and uncut diamonds set in pure gold is sure good enough to impress any woman!
On top Reha Sukheja and Deepti Gujral are modelling for Golecha brand of Jewellery, a brand that presented an ethnic and contemporary mix of jewellery. The show stopper Reha Sukheja came in an enormously designed bridal necklace and Maharani Haar, armlets, rings, bangles and mang tikka.

L-R: Mugdha Godse and Shonal Rawat
There were a quite a lot of familiar faces at the premiere of Help like Mugdha Godse, Shonal Rawat, Rituparna Sengupta and Udita Goswami. Shonal Rawat had a winning combination of cute little floral print dress, jacket, right accessories and shoes but Mugdha Godse’s printed one-shoulder dress left us disappointed… its bright enough to hurt our eyes and there was too much going on in that dress. Sometime less is more!
Rituparna Sengupta’s Indo-Western Dress gave us a migraine! The color is soo. tacky!
No matter how hard we try it is impossible to find a fault in Udita Goswami’s choice of sleeveless checks top and black denim. She is biker babe and has that rocker chic in her!

“Times Glamour” an international jewellery exhibition brought under one roof different types of jewelry. Prachi Desai seemed quite impressed with the huge variety available at the exhibition.

We also saw her trying out a few of the jewelry. Dressed in a halter neck churidaar, Prachi looked good, we think the halter neck makes this outfit look all so fusion.

For the success party of Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, Kangana appeared like a Greek goddess in that one shoulder golden gown with a headband. It sure looks good on her but very filmy, reminds us of Zeenat Aman in the Song, Laila O Laila.
L-R: Minissha Lamba, Sana Khan, Krystle D’souza and Mahi Vij
Nice one shoulder pink dress with a golden clutch and nude sandals for Minissha, picture perfect! Sana and Krystle wore similar drape minidress with just different colors, wonder if that that was pre-decided or just a co-incidence. Mahi Vij is another one of TV celebs who knows how to dress well, love Mahi’s reddish brown shoes… by the way, how many of you think Mahi resembles Aishwarya Rai?
After a long gap we see Shweta Tiwari but as stunning as always in that black tier mini dress.
Prachi Desai seen at the party in a Bebe mini dress, all that we can say is, this dress was not meant for Prachi, just not happening.

During the Salt Premiere, Kashmira Shah’s ripped pants and black shirt just made us want to do cartwheels, only not for joy. Absolutely hideous!
Deepshika always plays safe, black dress, white peep toes, a bracelet and she is done. And no she doesn’t look bad at all.
When you wear short mini skirts, ladies do try and see if it’s appropriate for your age. This comes off rather tacky, we are thinking Thai bar hostess!
Roshni Chopra’s sleeveless frill dress is a good example of comfortable dressing and so girly girl, this is so apt for a movie premiere.

We always commended Sonam’s sense of dressing, didn’t we? But what happened to her this time… she was probably in the mood to experiment with her clothes, but Sonam sorry to say your experiment failed big time!
Sister Rhea looked better in that Zara Top and tapered pants but yet not really keeping up to the celebrity status but this girl is comfortable in her own shoes as she has openly admitted that she is not interested in being an actress but instead heading in a director’s path. We say yay as we do need more female directors !
And this is the look we like Ira Dubey in that cute little strapless dress. There is nothing that’s overdone or tacky in Ira style. Whom out of the three did you like the most?

At the Delhi couture week we saw some great work and some disasters but all in all was something to look forward to. The top designs are from Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla’s ‘Almost 24′ collection.
The peach gorgette saree, ruffled at the bottom is giving the saree a divine look… just stupendous! For this show Brett Lee was the show-stopper. Brett Lee in Indian clothes looked hotter than ever before!
