Care For Your Career

April 13th, 2010

Career planning is one of the most important things you can do for yourself. Personal empowerment is a key byproduct of effective career planning. Career Planning is a process that can help you decide what career path to follow and how to follow that path using your skills, competencies and abilities.

Here are some advises:
- Every job-seeker needs to take the time to step way from the day-to-day grind of work and spend quality time reflecting on your career and developing some plans for your future.
- Admit your mistakes, graciously. Forgive the mistakes others make. Figure out how to move on and learn from experience.
- Analyze your strengths and weaknesses. Step back and look at yourself from an employer’s perspective. What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses?
- Ambition can be a driving force but it needn’t be obvious and self-serving. It certainly needn’t be aggressive. Let others become known for their ambition while you build a reputation for excellence.
- Work hard. Some people succeed without working hard, but some people win the lottery, too. Very few people achieve meaningful and lasting success without working hard.
-Set goals, write a plan of action and implement it. You may need some help in shaping your final career plan and implementing strategies for a successful search. There are many free and low cost services to help you do that. Look in your local Yellow Pages under career planning or career counseling and seek out job portals or organizations that work with women.

There are many job portals available in the market which provides jobs to the candidates but among them one is special because it’s only for female candidate’s means it is built for helping only female job seekers to get their desire job. http://naukriforwomen.com

How to Balance Between Career and Family

April 7th, 2010

Work and family don’t balance automatically. Achieving balance is an ongoing process. Understanding this can reduce frustration and help you act to gain control.

Here are some tips:

1. It is important to budget your time wisely. Set limits on work time.

2. Cut back your hours or responsibilities, consider job-sharing, or other tactics.

3. Put people over things, never things over people.

4. Get organized so you can use your time and energy efficiently.

5. Establish rules and routines in your home.

6. Do what you’re good at, and let others do the rest.

7. While at work, keep your distractions to a minimum.

8. Look after yourself - mind, body, and spirit.

9. Flexible work schedule is another option. Working some hours in the office and some hours at home allows for more time with the family.

10. Finally, make your weekend time off really count, use this time for activities that are important to you.

If you follow this information, I hope you can keep a balance between Career & Family. One more advice for the aspiring career woman: Get a job that will complement, not clash, with your home life. Get a job you really love and enjoy. Get a job where you will bit flexible. Many offices offer their workers the ability to change their schedule to fit their family life. http://naukriforwomen.com is totally dedicated to female job seekers. http://naukriforwomen.com aims to help women to build their career.
