Little Black Dress (LBD) is the most essential piece of clothing for every fashion conscious woman.  On top we see the most basic LBD, however, even it can do wonders for you.  Wear it during day time with a jacket on top for that perfect professional look or else wear it for an evening party with some accessories.

For the less bold look, Rakshanda’s LBD is just right!  Even with all the shiny material we like Lavinia’s LBD, pair it with Diamond earrings and bracelets for maximum effect.

LBD is always know for its cuts and curves, but the one in which Natasha Suri was seen in, at the Zara Launch party doesn’t really have the traits of a LBD.  And the Zipper LBD which was Anushka’ s choice is not so bad but we think it falls short on charm.

Here comes the most risky of the lot. Lace. It can make you look very sexy and seductive or very matronly! Tread with caution.

Jumpsuits have been around for a while but now its getting trendier than ever,  check out the cream color halter neck jumpsuit wore by Binal Trivedi… a complete party wear and equally comfortable.

The in-thing this season in western wear are the Rompers, we saw quite a lot of celebrities wearing rompers to various events.  Love the orange romper here and equally dislike the jeans romper Masaba is wearing, thumbs down to that one.

We are not too much in favor of wearing a romper with a huge belt like that and if you ask us it looks plain silly, Shilpa Agnihotri’s black romper is way better.

Blue for Men and Pink for Women… right? Wrong!  Today we prove that wrong, look at these celebrities here, looking gorgeous in Blue.

Kareena’s dress shape maybe a bit unusual (read weird but interesting) but isn’t that color giving her the Diva look?

Lata’s loose fitting strapless blue dress was no match to Candice’s Little Blue dress but the blue color saved the day for Lata.

Doubtlessly, Sushmita Sen rocks in that blue Alexander McQueen dress (Oh, how we miss this very talented designer) however, Konkana Bakshi ’s dress designed by Archana Kocchar, leaves us speechless in bad way! And that hair-do, it just added another 10 years to her look!

This complete attire makes Bipasha look so graceful.  Its Anarkali dress designed by Sunaina Puri.Kajol attended Gautam Rajadhyaksha’s  Book launch in Manish Malhotra’s Churidhaar.  The color coordination is awesome and Kajol looks vibrant; such a sensible buy for anyone, especially mothers-to-be.

Shilpa Shetty came for a religious event in this classic Salwar suit, we think the main attraction is the heavy Dupatta.On top you see a good example of Indo-Western suit, we like the cuts and creative use of Dupatta.  From what we see, the trend for this season is to have Churidaar pants.

Who here doesn’t know about Leggings? Obviously, we all do! Leggings are great fit, comfortable and equally stylish, but the best part is, it is for all ages.  And now it’s high time that we ditch the boring plain leggings for something more interesting, like some we have got you here.

Sass and Bide gave the plain leggings a new look, Sonam Kapoor looks super sexy wearing one of their designs.

If you want to be a bit different try leggings with feet more popularly known as thick tights.

For the bold ladies, it’s going to be nothing less than the Lace leggings.  These are just a few, you can also try Jeggings (Leggings that looks like Denim/Jeans) or Leather Leggings.

Shorts and Short skirts have been a deliberate choice of many.  We like them because they are comfortable, trendy and easily available.  At the recent Shopper Stop re-launch we saw Aanchal Kumar in a very chic plaited skirt with blue top, if you love flaunting short skirts this one is a must have.

At the Provogue soccer fashion show, models displayed some really cool Denim shorts.  And what we like best are those satin ribbons used  instead of belts.

These are the popular faces of Indian television, we  caught them in a different look at the Boroplus Gold Awards 2010.  Saumya Tandon looks doll-like in this blue strapless ruffle dress, while Moonmoon in her one-sleeve kimono dress looks appealing too, although we are not digging the flats  she has on. Ladies a word of advice, heels definitely makes you look graceful in a dress.

In the Indian outfit section, we liked Priya Marathe’s Anarkali churidaar, Swati Anand and Priyanka Mishra’s dresses were just too average. Yikes! Polka Dots in this manner can be a women’s worst enemy.

Sara Khan’s peek-a-boo was a total miss, we definitely expected more from Sara.

Drashti Dhami’s bandage dress was something to grab… but hey, what happened to Sonia Singh? She should rush to a stylish at once… that dress, her hair, accessories everything was such a disaster!

One-shoulder dresses are the hottest item this season and every girl should have this in her wardrobe. If you don’t believe us, check these pictures out for yourself.  Sunidhi Chauhan is wearing a one-shoulder dress designed by Archana Kocchar, sadly this ensemble was not meant for Sunidhi or for anyone for that matter.  Sometimes you should just keep a dress simple, we just did not like the taffle, embroidery or the shoes. Broad shouldered people should choose one-shoulder dresses carefully.  Masaba who also has broad shoulders looked good as her dress is cut very clean  but for Kangana Ranaut it was simply effortless.

Mandira is always bolds and we think she truly experiments in this one-shoulder black dress. Ruffles may not be everyone’s kind of thing but Sophiya rocks in this number. Complement with another hot item this season, the clutch bag and you are ready for a night out!

Tattoo fashion keeps coming back in regular intervals, just the tattoo location keeps changing.  Observing these celebrities… looks like the trend now for girls is getting a tattoo at the back below shoulders.

Urvashi Dolakhia’s Mermaid and Dolphin tattoo looks the best, neither too small nor too big, just right… right?

And is that a flying angel tattoo on Maria Goretti?

Surely, Sapna Bhavnani got a huge discount from her tattoo maker… she was almost fully covered with Tattoo at the Chivas party. All she needs now is a Harley so that she can ride off into sunset!!

Stylekandy,  India’s Fashion and Style Portal celebrated its 4th Anniversary by hosting a fashion show.  This fashion show also was with a cause to create awareness about domestic violence against women.  Now isn’t that a noble way to use fashion?

The Designers would be giving out one outfit from the collection for online auction and the money collected will be given to Breakthrough.  Breakthrough is an international human rights organization that works toward spreading awareness on domestic violence against women.

At the show, clothes were designed by Designers Narendra Kumar, Rocky S, Archana Kochhar, Vizyon, Neeta Lulla, Rahul Mishra, Nachiket Barve, Babita Malkani, Krishna Mehta and Arshiya Fakih.
